Ian Holder
Co-Owner and CEO
Ian has been involved in the mining industry for more than 20 years, starting his career at a North Queensland gold mine when he was just 16 years old. Since then Ian has worked in various roles in resource exploration, construction, project management, underground operations, oil and gas, engineering and project development.
With his experience across a broad range of mining roles, Ian has a deep understanding of the industry and offers insight and experience from his broad range of projects.
As the owner of Holder Mining, Ian has a strong knowledge of all aspects of the mining industry including exploration, permitting, drilling, mining, flotation, construction, quarrying and liquid gold processing.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering, a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Diploma of Management.
He is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Australian Institute of Company Directors and Australian Institute of Management.
Ian has a strong commercial focus with a focus on capitalising and increasing shareholder value. He is driven by the vision of developing and improving the Holder Mining business to create value for both Holder and its shareholders.
Martin Osborne
CFO
Martin is Holder’s Chief Financial Officer having joined the company in early 2015. He was previously the CFO for Global Titanium of Australia for seven years, and prior to this he held senior positions with State Bank of Victoria and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Martin is also a Director of the Mooroolbark Company, which holds mining and exploration interests in the Eastern Goldfields, and is a Director of Mooroolbark Mining Limited.
In his role at Holder, Martin will lead the finance, administration, tax and treasury functions.
Martin is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in providing accounting, finance and administration services to mining companies. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Management.
He has a Bachelor of Accountancy, and a Graduate Diploma of Business Management.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, Institute of Public Accountants in Australia and the Tax Institute of Australia.
